Nearly a year ago I posted the picture below on the Jupiter Island estates he bought and demolished to make way for his new mansion. The largest house near the top was originally owned by Chuck Curcio, the founder of Tire Kingdom, and was hardly visible from Beach Road as you travel up Jupiter Island.
The Island has long been a haven for the mega-rich and celebrities, including but not limited to Celine Dion, the Moen family, Alan Jackson, Greg Norman, Dan Marino, Nick Price, Lee Trevino, Anna Belle Whistler, the Lynch family, the Johnson & Johnson family, Olivia Newton-John, Richard Fuld, Lou Gerstner, etc. I think you get the idea.
On the northern end of the Island is a public beach that is hardly ever crowded where Hobe Sound residents can access the beautiful, warm water and for several miles the very northern tip is a county park.
Do Jupiter Island, Hobe Sound, Stuart, Tequesta and Jupiter look and sound like great places to live? Why do people who have the money to live anywhere...choose this part of the world?
Why is the Ritz-Carlton located here?
