Jupiter has long been known for its miles of fabulous beaches. Starting at Carlin Park in Jupiter and running south for about 5 miles to Juno Beach are some of the best, free beaches ANYWHERE!
There is a community group called Friends of Jupiter Beach that sponsors beach clean ups and hosts a dog-friendly beach complete with doggie clean up bags.
In addition, just north of the Jupiter Reef Club, the Town of Jupiter maintains a parking area for catamarans.
The Town of Jupiter, Department of Parks and Recreation, has eight (8) catamaran docking spaces available just north of the Jupiter Reef Club. 2009-2010 permits will be available beginning on Thursday, October 1, 2009, 8:30 a.m. at the Jupiter Community Center located at 200 Military Trail. This permit is for Town of Jupiter residents only. The cost of the permit is $200.
Catamarans are great along the southeast Florida coast as are sailboats since we almost always have a stiff, S.E. breeze blowing and so the sailing is good!
