This is about 6% of the active listings and of course doesn't count FSBO's and those temporarily off the market. At this rate, it will take about 16 months to get back to a "normal" supply (6 months supply) if NO MORE homes come on the market. If you read my last post, you know that the bulk of these sales are being done by first time home buyers taking advantage of the $ 8,000 credit from Uncle Sam.
