Old Florida. This a phrase that brings to mind a time when all the waterfront wasn't taken up by private interests. Luckily, here in Jupiter, wise planning kept our beaches open. They are wide, clean and free. And best of all you can bring your family dog as long as they are on voice control. If they behave, they are free to run free. And for some reason, dogs seem to know that there is no "territorial stuff" allowed and they play freely.
Just a little back from the beach is the Intracoastal Waterway. This section of waterfront has some natural areas along the eastern side, along the Jupiter Yacht Club. Across on the western side you have Jonathan's Landing, Admirals Cove and Water's Edge estates. Here homes are priced in the mid-$ 2 million range. But the Town of Jupiter came up with a plan to save the remaining waterfront for the public and have begun the Riverwalk project as part of the integration of the remaining spaces into a cohesive, planned development. Take a look at this professional video I found.
