US One bridge construction continues

Jupiter has three main north/south arteries for traffic.   They are Military Trail, Alt A1A and US One.  US One runs from Key West to Maine and along the way passes through Jupiter.  Here it connects Jupiter with Juno Beach to the south and Tequesta to the north.

Near the Burt Reynolds Park boat ramp it passes over two bodies of water that used to be the original river before the Corp.of Engineers straightened it out.  The Corp. decided that the bridges were too low and last year began a project to modernize them and raise the height.

This should help ease the traffic burden at the ramp since larger boats will not be able to launch and not have to be confined to the west side.
