Jonathan's Landing offers three golf courses

Here we are in the golf capital of the world.  Between North Palm Beach and Tequesta there are too many golf courses to name.  Most clubs have one course although some have two.  But Jonathan's Landing is that rare club offering three courses.  One, the Village Course, is located in town and the other two are located in Old Trail about 15 minutes west of Jupiter.

The Village Course is situated about a mile from the ocean so when playing there you are treated to cool, ocean breezes which are a real treat in the summer.  It also means the course is less prone to our afternoon thunderstorms which are typically seen in the west.  The shot below is of the par-3, 16th hole on the Village Course and was taken from Anchorage North.

The two courses in Old Trail are known as the Fazio and the Hills courses.  They are named for the two designers who incidentally designed the two courses at Mirasol Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens.  And with three courses, you always have options of where to play even during a renovation phase on one course.

Currently, the Village Course is undergoing renovation of the fairways, greens and tee boxes.  This is part of a continuing program of upgrades to JL.   Other upgrades include a new, state of the art fitness and tennis center and new signage.
